Conveyancing Paralegal, London HQ

We are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team, they will be responsible for all conveyancing aspects including legal documentation, customer communication, and property searches. They will coordinate with the Sparrow team, to ensure smooth transactions and compliance within the relevant regulations. 

 

This role will report directly into the Director of Governance and is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an exciting organisation. 

 

Below is a snapshot of what you can expect in the role as the Conveyancing Paralegal: 

  • Manage shared ownership resales, staircasing, and re-mortgages from instructions to post-completion. 

  • Analyse and input data, organise documents, handle post-completion tasks, maintain trackers, and update finances. 

  • Main contact for customers, provide updates, answer queries, investigate and resolve complaints. 

  • Conduct searches for legal issues or restrictions. 

  • Coordinate with professionals such as; leadership, solicitors, and mortgage brokers. 

  • Ensure transactions comply with laws and regulations. 

  • Assist with title and lease enquiries, conduct legal research, draft correspondence and documents. 

Skills & experience required of the Conveyancing Paralegal: 

  • Previous conveyancing experience, especially in shared ownership transactions. 

  • Experience liaising with customers and managing their experience. 

  • Knowledge of Property Law, conveyancing procedures, and shared ownership regulations. 

  • Clear and effective communication skills in oral and written English. 

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Excel; familiarity with legal research platforms and AI-driven tools. 

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
