Independent Non-Executive Director

As a Board member, you’ll take collective responsibility for Sparrow’s vision and strategic direction. As Committee Chair, you’ll lead on:

  • Executive remuneration and reward strategy.

  • Succession planning and Board recruitment.

  • Aligning incentives with culture and values.

This is a governance role with real influence – setting best practice and ensuring our people strategy supports sustainable success.

What we’re looking for

  • Senior-level experience in HR, people strategy, and governance.

  • Exposure to Boards and remuneration committees.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence.

  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and ethical leadership.

Key details

  • Remuneration: £25,000 per annum (including Committee Chair fee).

  • Commitment: 2–3 days per month.

  • Location: London-based Board meetings, flexible for other commitments.

  • Closing date: Thursday 12 February 2026.
